Role Purpose

As Demi Chef de Partie, you are responsible for daily food preparation and assigned duties to meet set standards and qualities. You will promote the desired work culture by living the 5 winning ways value: Do the Right Thing, Show We Care, Aim Higher, Celebrate Difference, Work Better Together.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Operations

• Support the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in daily operations and work.
• Work according to menu specifications set by the Chef de Partie.
• Prepare daily mise-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellites.
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation.
• Keep up to date with new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
• Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks.

Hygiene & Cost Management

• Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to hotel rules.
• Control food stock and food cost in the section.
• Coordinate and participate with other sections on requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.

Team Leadership

• Instruct and lead subordinates through their daily requirements in food preparation.
• Actively take part in setup of buffets and special functions.
