Role Overview

Demi Chef de Partie (Indian Cuisine) at Hilton, located at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah.

Role Purpose

Oversee the preparation of high-quality Indian dishes while supervising junior kitchen staff and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation

• Season, cook, and test dishes according to standard recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.

Team Supervision

• Supervise line cooks and provide support in the absence of senior chefs to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

Kitchen Management

• Maintain all work areas clean, tidy, and free of cross-contamination.
• Monitor ingredient quality, ensuring proper storage and stock rotation.

Compliance & Safety

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing.

Guest Experience

• Assist with guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring a positive dining experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Culinary expertise in Indian cuisine.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
