Role Purpose
Optimize delivery operations across all segments, manage fleet and carrier resources, monitor performance indicators, handle exceptions and customer issues, drive data-informed improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure delivery quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization and Standard Implementation
- Analyze operational processes across each delivery segment: Collection, In Transit, Handover, and Successful Delivery.
- Formulate standardized operational norms and promote their implementation.
- Optimize route planning and resource scheduling.
- Enhance delivery efficiency and punctuality rate.
- Reduce operational costs.
Fleet Management and Resource Coordination
- Coordinate Carriers and self-operated fleet resources.
- Formulate dispatch plans and monitor fleet usage.
- Optimize personnel and vehicle configuration.
- Engage in resource bidding, introduction, and replacement.
- Ensure fleet reserve capacity during peak seasons.
- Improve resource utilization rate and cost-effectiveness.
Indicator Monitoring and Exception Handling
- Monitor delivery timeliness, on-time delivery rate, damage rate, and other key metrics in real-time.
- Establish a risk warning mechanism.
- Promptly handle order anomalies, customer complaints, and emergency situations.
- Formulate emergency plans to ensure delivery quality and customer satisfaction.
Carrier Management and Training
- Establish a carrier evaluation system.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of operational quality.
- Promote rectification and improvement.
- Organize business training and convey operational norms and safety standards.
- Enhance service capability and compliance of carriers.
Data-Driven Initiatives and Cross-Department Collaboration
- Analyze delivery data to identify efficiency and cost improvement points.
- Output analysis reports and promote process improvements.
- Collaborate with business, technology, customer service, and other departments to solve operational issues.
- Ensure successful implementation of projects and achievement of business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in logistics operations, last-mile delivery, or supply chain management.
- E-commerce or Express delivery experience highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of logistics KPI tracking, route optimization tools, and carrier management frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale vendor networks and handle high-pressure peak seasons.
