Role Overview
Delivery Operations Manager at JINGDONG Logistics (JD Logistics), part of JD.com, based in the Middle East region.

Role Purpose
Manage daily operations and delivery of the transportation and distribution network in the Middle East region, ensuring efficient and stable operation of sea, air, land transportation, and last-mile delivery services while optimizing costs, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Own daily operation and management of the transportation and distribution network in the Middle East region.
- Ensure efficient and stable operation of sea, air, land transportation, and last-mile delivery services.
- Monitor the entire operational chain of goods from origin, customs clearance, transshipment, and last-mile delivery.
Network Coordination
- Coordinate international trunk transportation resources with sea and air carriers and local transportation service providers.
- Collaborate with headquarters and regional teams to advance the construction of the logistics network in the Middle East.
- Support the implementation and operation of new routes, new countries, and new business scenarios.
Performance Management
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for transportation and distribution operations, including on-time delivery rate, successful delivery rate, transportation costs, anomaly rate, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data to identify business pain points and improvement opportunities.
- Continuously drive operational quality improvement.
Process Optimization
- Establish and optimize transportation and distribution operation processes.
- Improve the operational efficiency of cross-border logistics and local distribution networks.
- Reduce operating costs through process improvement and optimization.
- Develop and promote the implementation of operational optimization projects.
Issue Resolution
- Manage transportation and distribution anomalies.
- Promptly coordinate with warehousing, transportation companies, customs clearance teams, and customer service teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure stable business operations.
Supplier Management
- Participate in transportation resource planning and supplier management.
- Conduct carrier performance evaluation, capacity management, pricing management, and service quality supervision.
- Effectively coordinate resources from carriers, logistics service providers, and internal cross-departmental teams.
Compliance
- Become familiar with and comply with local logistics, transportation, and customs regulations.
- Ensure compliant business operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in logistics management, supply chain management, international trade, transportation, or related fields preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in the logistics industry.
- Experience in cross-border logistics, international freight forwarding, transportation operations, or distribution operations.
- Familiarity with sea and air freight operation procedures.
- Understanding of international freight forwarding, customs clearance, transshipment, and last-mile delivery business models.
- Prior experience in the logistics industry in the Middle East preferred, with familiarity with the logistics market environment and transportation network resources of countries such as the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Skills & Competencies
- Familiar with key performance indicator (KPI) management in logistics operations.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Supplier management experience.
- Strong communication, coordination, project management, and stress management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving business environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
- Experience with logistics systems (TMS/WMS/OMS, etc.) preferred.
