Role Overview
Delivery Captain in Riyadh for Chalhoub Group. The Delivery Captain is responsible for delivering customer orders and collecting returns with care and on a timely basis, ensuring the safe delivery of goods within an appointed region.

Role Purpose
To deliver customer orders and collect returns safely and on time within an appointed region, ensuring goods are properly secured, vehicles are maintained in good condition, and all delivery operations comply with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Deliveries and Collections
- Deliver orders daily to wholesale and retail outlets.
- Perform last mile customer deliveries.
- Check orders before delivery.
- Collect returns to warehouse as assigned.
- Collect orders from shops for last mile delivery.
- Collect cash from e-commerce COD customers and hand over as per procedure.
- Collect payment using credit card machine for COD e-commerce customers.
- Perform shop-to-shop transfers.
- Collect necessary documents from shops during returns.
Operations and Compliance
- Complete all processes in Fareye.
- Comply strictly with assigned route and schedule.
- Receive and route all operating instructions via the Logistics Distribution Department.
- Ensure the company vehicle assigned is used exclusively for company business only.
- Work within, promote and identify improvements in the company's Quality Management System as per ISO 9001 standards.
- Strictly follow, develop and improve standard processes, procedures and work instructions, and promote adherence to procedures.
- Ensure workplace health, safety and environment requirements as per OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 are met.
- Take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
Vehicle Maintenance and Safety
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks when necessary.
- Report all maintenance issues.
- Keep assigned vehicles clean inside and out.
- Report any accidents at the first possible instant.
- Maintain strict adherence to all traffic and road safety regulations.
Reporting and Documentation
- Report all incidents, occasions of misplaced or lost packages to the Logistics Distribution Department.
- Immediately report any breach in procedures, company policy or security to supervisor or management.
- Report all incidents of any nature and however caused to immediate superior, completing all necessary documentation promptly and accurately.
- Research and report improvements to warehouse operations according to company objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid driving license.
- Previous experience in delivery or a similar role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
