Role Overview
Dean of Engineering at Burjline Builders. The role provides strategic and academic leadership for the College of Information Technology, overseeing academic programs, faculty performance, research, accreditation, and student success while ensuring continuous development and quality of IT programs in alignment with the University's strategic objectives and industry requirements.
Role Purpose
Lead the College of Information Technology with strategic vision and academic excellence, driving program quality, faculty development, research initiatives, and student outcomes in partnership with industry and institutional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and manage the College of IT and its academic programs.
- Develop and implement academic strategies and plans.
- Enhance student experience, academic quality, and graduate employability.
Faculty & Human Resources
- Oversee faculty recruitment, performance, and professional development.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and quality assurance standards.
Research & Industry Partnerships
- Promote research, innovation, and collaboration with the technology industry.
Financial & Resource Management
- Manage the College's budget and academic resources.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent the College in internal and external academic and professional engagements.
