Role Overview
DBH Commercial Manager at Majid Al Futtaim, MAF Retail, Head Office KSA.
Role Purpose
Support the development and execution of commercial strategies to drive sales, profitability, and category growth. Manage supplier relationships, optimize product assortment and pricing strategies, monitor category performance, and identify market opportunities to enhance overall commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Category Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute the DPH category strategy to achieve sales, margin, and market share targets.
- Define assortment strategy, product selection, and category segmentation.
- Analyze category performance and implement action plans to drive growth and profitability.
Supplier & Commercial Management
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and annual commercial agreements.
- Lead pricing, promotions, and trade marketing initiatives to maximize commercial performance.
Market & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
- Prepare business reviews, forecasts, and commercial reports for management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Marketing, and Store Operations to ensure product availability and successful execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial, Category Management, or Buying.
- Experience managing DPH, FMCG, or Household categories within retail.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical and commercial acumen with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
