Role Overview

Data Warehouse & Integration Senior Manager at Nahdi Care. This is a hands-on position responsible for the design, development, and optimization of data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.

Role Purpose

Design, build, and maintain enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence infrastructure. Integrate data from multiple on-premise and cloud sources using engineered systems and ETL tools. Translate business requirements into technical data solutions that enable accurate reporting and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Architecture

• Develop logical and physical design of data warehouse to ensure consistency and integration with existing conceptual, logical, and physical application architectures.
• Define data element requirements including history, timeliness, and frequency of data.
• Design and develop automated complex and efficient ETL processes to enable business intelligence reporting.

Standards & Governance

• Maintain and communicate processes and standard practices related to design, development, and implementation of data warehouse and BI application solutions and patterns.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all systems and servers by documenting administration activities.
• Ensure compliance with data security and integrity policies and procedures by monitoring database access.

Technology Evaluation & Integration

• Research and evaluate data warehouse, BI, and system integration technologies, products, and solutions, and make recommendations on technology introduction, phase-out, and retirement.
• Support company cloud application initiatives and develop on-premise and cloud application integrations.
• Foster and encourage data warehouse solutions reuse within on-premise and cloud applications.

Testing & Validation

• Test data warehouse and BI solutions to prepare for, administer, and validate results of unit, vendor, component integration, system acceptance, deployment readiness, and user acceptance testing to ensure conformance to business, functional, and quality requirements.

Infrastructure & Deployment

• Design, deploy, and install data warehouse and business intelligence software and infrastructure according to business requirements and technology evolution.
• Perform maintenance of data warehouse and business intelligence infrastructure through patching, upgrading, and troubleshooting to maximize performance.
• Perform periodic back-ups for applications and databases to ensure data and application availability and mitigate risk of data loss.

Performance & Availability

• Ensure performance optimization for data warehouse and business intelligence infrastructure by reviewing configuration, identifying areas of improvement, and taking appropriate actions such as database and application tuning.
• Ensure high availability of data warehouse and business intelligence applications through scheduling maintenance activities and increasing availability of current solutions to limit unplanned interruptions and sustain partial system failure.
• Monitor data warehouse and business intelligence infrastructure and ETL processes using appropriate ETL and enterprise management tools to ensure availability of services with accurate data.

Security & Data Management

• Manage data security by designing database and application infrastructure aligned with data security requirements, managing user access according to business rules, monitoring security compliance, and performing data masking for sensitive data.

Business Support

• Support other business functions with specific reporting such as finance department business intelligence reporting by gathering requirements and building data warehouse capability including sourcing data and building visualization capability.

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc in Computer Science; Master's in Information Technology related field preferred.
• 8 to 10 years of experience.

Additional Information

• Work Environment: 100% indoors.
• Working Schedule: 5 working days per week, 2 days off.
• Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with 1 hour break.
