Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist/Cytoscreener at King's College Hospital London – Dubai. The role supports delivery of high-quality patient care in cytology screening and diagnostic laboratory work aligned with international best practices.

Role Purpose
To perform cytology screening and verification with high diagnostic accuracy, ensure regulatory compliance, and support timely diagnostic workflows across gynecological and non-gynecological specimen analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Screening and Diagnostics
- Perform cytology screening with high diagnostic accuracy, including gynecological and non-gynecological specimens.
- Review and verify cytology results in accordance with laboratory policies and regulatory standards.
Compliance and Quality
- Ensure full compliance with DHA and international laboratory accreditation standards (e.g., CAP, ISO15189).
- Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing programs.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Collaboration and Support
- Collaborate closely with pathologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnostic workflows.
- Train, mentor, and support junior technologists when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
- DHA-licensed Cytoscreener or DHA Eligibility Letter as Cytoscreener.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cytology, cytoscreening, or anatomic pathology.
- Experience in a JCI/CAP-accredited hospital laboratory is an advantage.

- Strong technical skills in cytology specimen preparation, staining, and screening.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic accuracy.
