Role Purpose

Support the Honeywell Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CoE) team in cybersecurity solution development, product testing, lab validation, technical documentation, and cybersecurity engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Validation

• Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities for Honeywell cybersecurity products and solutions.
• Assist in maintaining and operating the Cyber CoE cybersecurity lab environment.
• Participate in proof-of-concept (POC), product demonstration, and solution validation activities.

Security Assessment & Analysis

• Assist with cybersecurity assessments, system reviews, and risk evaluation activities.
• Perform basic cybersecurity analysis and identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Support technical documentation, test reports, procedures, and knowledge articles.

Tools & Automation

• Participate in the evaluation of new cybersecurity tools, technologies, and product features.
• Assist in the development and testing of cybersecurity-related scripts and automation tools.

Collaboration & Learning

• Collaborate with engineering, development, and project teams on assigned activities.
• Continuously expand knowledge of Honeywell cybersecurity products and industrial cybersecurity technologies.
• Support internal training, workshops, and technology demonstrations as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, networking, IT infrastructure, systems administration, or related technical fields.
• Fresh graduates with strong cybersecurity knowledge and hands-on project experience may also be considered.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Exposure to security tools, vulnerability management, or system hardening concepts.
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work in a collaborative environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good documentation and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
