Role Overview
Cyber Security Architect/Engineer II at Honeywell Technologies. This position provides onsite and offsite cyber security services for industrial Process Control Networks serving Oil and Gas, Hydrocarbon Processing, Power Generation, Pulp, Paper & Printing, Continuous Web Solutions, Petrochemicals, Life Sciences, and Metals, Minerals and Mining markets.
Role Purpose
Deliver comprehensive cyber security consulting, architecture, and engineering services to industrial customers. Services include on-site and offsite consulting, troubleshooting, network design, implementation, assessments, and related technical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interface & Support
- Act as primary customer interface to ensure proposed solutions meet their business needs.
- Respond to customer inquiries, questions, and issues by diagnosing problems and providing the most appropriate technical solution in an accurate and timely manner.
- Develop sound and trusted relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical and engineering support.
Technical Competency & Knowledge Management
- Maintain technical competency with the Honeywell Process Solutions security and networking product and systems portfolio while maintaining expert knowledge on specific designated security and network disciplines.
- Maintain knowledge of current industry security standards such as NIST, NCA, IEC-62443, and ISO27001.
- Maintain cyber security certifications.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field such as Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial automation network systems.
- 5+ years Industrial Networking.
- 5+ years Leading Security Projects.
- 5+ years Performing Audits and Assessments.
- 5+ years' Experience within Industrial Process Control.
- Experience performing cybersecurity, network, and system services at customer sites.
- Experience in LAN and WAN architectures and Purdue ICS model.
- Process Control System Design and Implementation Knowledge.
Skills & Competencies
- Cisco Certified Network Professional, Design Professional, or Security Professional certification (at least one).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certification.
- Cyber Security Risk Analysis.
- Linux and Windows Security Basics.
- Strong Virtualization Experience (VCP).
- Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Server.
- Experience with different firewall vendors: Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet.
- Experience with anti-virus systems, backup and restore, network management, and whitelisting.
- Experience designing and optimizing complex LAN environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve complex network, application, and system integration issues.
- Familiarity with Industrial Site's Safety Requirements.
- Experience with current industry security standards including NIST, NCA, IEC-62443, and ISO27001.
