Role Purpose

Convert approved interior design concepts and architectural layouts into detailed, millimeter-accurate joinery shop drawings and manufacturing details while preparing precise material cutting lists and optimizing material yield to support timely, high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting & Shop Drawings

• Convert approved interior design concepts and architectural layouts into detailed, millimeter-accurate joinery shop drawings and manufacturing details.

Cutting List Generation

• Prepare precise, manual, or software-generated material cutting lists for MDF, plywood, solid wood, veneers, laminates, and hardware, detailing dimensions, grain direction, and edge-banding requirements.

Material Optimization

• Use nesting and cutting optimization software to maximize yield from wood sheets and solid lumber, reducing factory floor waste.

Hardware & Fitting Integration

• Specify and integrate hardware, including hinges, sliders, locks, and brackets, into drawings with appropriate tolerances and marked drilling holes.

Site Coordination

• Review site survey dimensions and as-built measurements to adjust production drawings before launching fabrication.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate directly with Production Supervisors, CNC Operators, and Estimators to clarify design intents and troubleshoot manufacturing constraints.
