Role Overview
Customer Service Officer at Majid Al Futtaim in the United Arab Emirates. This role requires Emirati Talent only and serves across MAF Entertainment venues including MAF Cinemas, Magic Planet, and Ski Dubai.
Role Purpose
Deliver consistent high-level customer service and support daily operations across MAF Entertainment venues to ensure smooth guest experiences and operational excellence in line with company standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Guest Experience
- Deliver consistent high-level customer service across all MAF Entertainment venues in line with company SOPs.
- Assist with guest services including inquiries, complaints, tours, and coordination of parties and events.
- Support customer service functions at Ski Dubai, including party room operations.
Ticketing, Sales & Payments
- Handle ticketing, sales, and bookings using system platforms, including upselling and promoting products and services.
- Process payments accurately using cash, card, and vouchers.
- Issue receipts and refunds.
- Perform cash reconciliation and reporting.
Operations & Safety
- Support daily operations across MAF Cinemas, Magic Planet, and Ski Dubai to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Ensure smooth cinema operations and high service standards at MAF Cinemas.
- Deliver a safe, enjoyable guest experience and monitor equipment operations at Magic Planet.
- Support marketing activities as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and professional standards while following health, safety, and management instructions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum high school education.
- Customer service focused with at least one to two years of experience in customer service, food and beverage, or retail roles.
- UAE family book required.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Skilled in cash handling and basic computer use.
- Attention to detail and mathematical accuracy.
- Ability to follow procedures while applying upselling techniques and maintaining high service standards.
- Physically fit and able to perform all required duties in a fast-paced entertainment environment across MAF Cinemas, Magic Planet, and Ski Dubai.
