Role Overview
Customer Delivery Advisor at Cisco, located in Saudi Arabia. This is a hybrid, full-time position requiring 48 hours per week with 20% travel.

Role Purpose
Act as a senior management consultant and technology strategist to support customers in achieving greater business value from technology. Deliver services ranging from digitization strategy development to operating model design, assisting clients in aligning business and technology agendas while identifying areas where innovation drives business value.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Advisory
- Work as a trusted advisor alongside senior customers to identify relevant market trends and discover opportunities for technology to create new business value.
- Develop or validate technology strategies, supporting business cases, and define required transformation programmes.
- Develop and evangelize innovative points of view on how digital technologies will transform the way business is conducted.
- Actively work to identify and develop new business opportunities for Cisco through advisory.
Operating Model & Governance
- Build or enhance operating models catering for effective technology governance and alignment between business and technology.
- Lead work to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the technology organization, covering processes, tools, and people, including the introduction of orchestration and automation.
Architecture & Portfolio Development
- Develop technology reference architectures and service portfolios.
- Contribute to associated product development.
Optimization & Performance
- Compose and perform technology benchmarking and develop cost optimization strategies and action plans, including service and application rationalization.
Leadership & Engagement
- Act as an entrepreneur, including challenging traditional viewpoints at the client C-level.
Qualifications & Experience
- A master's degree with a distinguished academic record, or a bachelor's degree complemented by 10 or more years of relevant professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 or more years of experience within management consultancy plus a minimum of 5 or more years in a senior role at a technology-driven service delivery organization.
- Demonstrated experience navigating diverse segments, including Enterprise, Government, and Service Provider sectors.
- Subject matter expertise in high-impact technologies, such as Smart Buildings, Smart Cities, or Digital Government initiatives.
- Fluent Arabic is required.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced proficiency in agile delivery methodologies and IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Advanced proficiency in IOT, AI, and other technology trends.
- Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- The capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively, combined with the flexibility to travel and work across the EMEAR region.
- An entrepreneurial mindset characterized by the courage to challenge traditional viewpoints and provide strategic counsel at the C-suite level.
