Role Overview
Credit Risk Analyst II at Citi in the United Arab Emirates. This position is open to UAE Nationals only.
Role Purpose
Monitor, assess, analyze and evaluate credit risk processes and data supporting global contract negotiations and trades. Identify policy gaps, formulate recommendations, and maintain data quality through document review, exception reporting and data entry while demonstrating sound risk judgment and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Quality & Document Management
- Support data quality for global contract negotiations and trades.
- Conduct document review and exception reporting.
- Perform data entry and validation.
- Execute document scanning and document warehousing.
Analysis & Assessment
- Monitor, assess, analyze and evaluate processes and data within specialty area.
- Interpret data and make recommendations based on analysis and specialty area knowledge.
- Research and interpret factual information.
- Identify inconsistencies in data or results.
- Define business issues and formulate recommendations on policies, procedures or practices.
Risk & Compliance
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made.
- Demonstrate particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguard Citigroup, its clients and assets.
- Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
- Adhere to Policy and apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices.
- Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency.
Systems & Procedures
- Gain detailed familiarity with Citi's standard forms of documentation, technology and internal procedures.
- Develop working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
- Learn and work with complex in-house data management systems.
Communication & Collaboration
- Exchange information in a concise and consistent way.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse audiences.
- Understand how the team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives of the area.
Qualifications & Experience
- 0-2 years relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree or University degree or equivalent experience.
