Role Purpose
The Creative Design Specialist is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing high-impact visual content that aligns with the organization's brand identity and strategic objectives. This role requires a mix of creativity, technical expertise, and strategic thinking, ensuring consistency across digital, print, and multimedia platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Brand Development
- Develop full brand packages, including brand identity, theme, language, culture, and story.
- Maintain and evolve the organization's brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Create compelling designs for social media, stationery, marketing materials, and related purposes.
Content Creation & Campaigns
- Design and execute creative content for online and offline channels.
- Develop and manage social media content calendars and campaigns.
- Craft engaging and interactive content for various audiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external designers, content writers, and marketers to produce impactful visuals.
Media & Communication
- Develop PR, communication, and media plans and oversee their execution.
- Create brand awareness plans for both online and offline environments.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new media platforms.
Design Execution & Technical Expertise
- Produce work demonstrating advanced skills in graphic design, UI/UX design, motion graphics, presentation design, and multimedia design.
- Execute video production including shooting, lighting, and editing.
- Deliver photography and photo editing/retouching work.
- Manage sound editing, storyboarding, copywriting, and content strategy.
- Coordinate with vendors for printing, publishing, and production needs.
Project & Quality Management
- Present ideas, mockups, and drafts for feedback and approval.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Track design project timelines, progress, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to management.
- Maintain organized archives of design assets for internal use.
Collaboration & Support
- Provide creative guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
- Support other departments and projects as needed.
- Work closely with marketing, communications, and operations teams to ensure visual alignment across all initiatives.
Flexibility & Commitment
- Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Provide support to team members as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
- Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate after-hours work, weekends work, or travel requirements when required.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva.
- Strong knowledge of branding principles, design theory, and typography.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual Arabic and English fluency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a creative designer or in a similar role with a portfolio showcasing a variety of design work.
