Role Purpose

Ensure accurate cost monitoring, early risk identification, and strong financial governance throughout the Al Jurf (JCB) project lifecycle by managing budgets, tracking expenditures, forecasting costs, and providing reliable financial insights to support project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Budgeting & Cost Planning

• Prepare project budgets and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS).
• Support EAC updates and variation cost assessments.

Cost Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor actual vs. budgeted costs and report variances.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and dashboards.
• Track commitments, expenditures, and cost-to-complete (CTC) forecasts.

Validation & Verification

• Validate quantities, productivity, and subcontractor payment applications.
• Review and verify subcontractor and supplier invoices.

Financial Governance & Records

• Maintain accurate, auditable cost records and ERP system updates.
• Support cash flow planning.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with Planning, Commercial, Finance, Procurement, and site teams to maintain cost discipline.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8–10 years' experience in cost control (UAE preferred).
• Strong understanding of BOQs, cost structures, and commercial processes.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting.
• Knowledge of Planning coordination.

• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, BuildSmart, MS Dynamics).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
