Role Overview

Coordinator for Quality Assurance and Accreditation at the University of Kalba, supporting the Office of Institutional Effectiveness in ensuring compliance with national and international accreditation standards, overseeing academic and administrative quality assurance activities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across programs and services.

Role Purpose

Support the Office of Institutional Effectiveness in ensuring compliance with national and international accreditation standards, overseeing academic and administrative quality assurance activities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Process Development

• Contribute to the development and implementation of university-wide quality assurance processes aligned with national and international standards.
• Oversee academic program reviews and the assessment of learning outcomes.
• Ensure university policies and procedures comply with accreditation requirements.

Accreditation Management

• Support institutional licensure renewal and accreditation and reaccreditation of academic programs.
• Assist in preparing evidence and documentation for accreditation submissions within set deadlines.
• Collaborate with colleges and departments to document accreditation and benchmarking data.

Data & Reporting

• Collect and review annual college reports and prepare comprehensive institutional status reports.
• Prepare and analyze data and reports.

Faculty & Staff Development

• Plan and conduct workshops and training sessions to support faculty and staff in assessment and quality assurance practices.
• Facilitate effective communication and dissemination of best practices across the university.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of accreditation-related data and information.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in institutional and program accreditation, preferably in a CAA-accredited university.
• Accreditation and Quality Assurance Certifications.

Skills & Competencies

• Comprehensive knowledge of accreditation and quality assurance processes in higher education.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multi-step accreditation projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
