Role Overview
Contracts Manager at HanmiGlobal Saudi, responsible for overseeing and managing all contract-related activities for construction projects.
Role Purpose
Ensure compliance of contract terms, negotiate contract amendments, and mitigate contractual risks to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Preparation and Negotiation
- Manage the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts for construction projects.
- Support the procurement process by providing input regarding contract terms and conditions.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
- Review and interpret contract documents to identify risks and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with legal and finance departments to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor contract performance, deadlines, claims, and variations.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve contractual issues and disputes.
Procedures and Guidance
- Develop and implement contract management procedures and best practices.
- Provide guidance and training to project teams on contractual matters.
Administration and Records
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to contracts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and construction contracts, including FIDIC and NEC.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with contract management software and MS Office.
- Ability to lead a team and work effectively under pressure.
