Role Overview

Contracts Manager (Post Contract) at Rider Levett Bucknall. This role supports the commercial delivery of a major project during the post-contract phase.

Role Purpose

Ensure effective implementation of contractual obligations, protect the client's commercial interests, and deliver successful contractual and commercial outcomes. Act as a trusted advisor providing strategic contractual guidance throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management & Administration

• Manage variations, claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) requests.
• Oversee contract close-out activities.
• Implement contractual obligations effectively.

Commercial Risk & Dispute Resolution

• Manage commercial risks throughout project execution.
• Handle dispute resolution activities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

• Provide strategic contractual guidance to project teams.
• Engage effectively with senior stakeholders, contractors, and consultants.
• Demonstrate strong client-facing capabilities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the client.

Project Delivery

• Independently drive commercial activities through to completion.
• Protect the client's commercial interests.
