Contract Engineer

Role Overview

Retal is seeking a Contract Engineer to join the Real Estate and Property division in Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose

Manage and oversee construction contracts while ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budget requirements. Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

• Review, analyze, and prepare contract documentation for real estate and property development projects.
• Manage contract modifications, variations, and claims while maintaining detailed records.

Monitoring & Compliance

• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contract terms and project schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and document progress against contractual obligations.
• Prepare reports and maintain compliance documentation for audit and client review purposes.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to resolve contractual disputes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in contract management within construction or real estate sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian building codes and local regulatory requirements.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders.
