Content Creator at Apparel Group. The role involves capturing and editing high-quality video content for social media platforms, with a focus on event videography and Reels production.
Role Purpose
Record videos at events, capture engaging moments, and edit high-quality Reels for social media. The role exists to create dynamic content that performs well online and aligns with brand identity across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Event Videography & Content Capture
- Attend events, brand activations, and corporate functions to capture engaging video content.
- Shoot high-quality footage using a smartphone, DSLR, or camera equipment.
- Capture key moments and engaging shots optimized for social media.
- Ensure smooth, well-lit, and stable footage using gimbals or built-in stabilization tools.
Video Editing & Reels Production
- Edit high-energy, engaging Reels and short videos for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Use fast-paced transitions, speed ramping, effects, and trending editing styles to enhance engagement.
- Add music, sound effects, and text overlays to make videos more interactive and shareable.
- Keep up with trending social media video formats to ensure maximum visibility and performance.
Content Optimization & Branding
- Ensure all video content aligns with brand identity, aesthetics, and messaging.
- Optimize videos for different social media platforms, including aspect ratios, resolutions, and formats.
- Stay updated on social media trends and viral editing techniques.
Skills & Competencies
- Experience in video content creation and editing, including personal or social media projects.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of social media content trends and what makes videos go viral.
- Knowledge of lighting, framing, and video stabilization.
- Ability to work quickly and deliver polished videos under tight deadlines.
- Strong eye for videography and ability to frame and capture compelling footage.
Additional Information
- A high-end smartphone or basic camera setup is sufficient to begin the role.
