Role Overview
Content Compliance & Government Relations Manager, Middle East with On, based in the Middle East region.

Role Purpose
This role safeguards platform content and maintains constructive relationships with regional regulatory authorities by conducting content compliance, monitoring regulatory developments, and engaging with government bodies across Middle Eastern markets.
Key Responsibilities
Content Review & Safety Standards
- Conduct content review and compliance execution to ensure alignment with local religious, cultural, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain regional content safety standards, including mechanisms for identifying and escalating sensitive content.
Regulatory Monitoring & Guidance
- Monitor and analyze policy and regulatory developments across Middle Eastern markets.
- Provide clear compliance guidance to internal teams based on regulatory landscape analysis.
Government & Stakeholder Relations
- Build and maintain ongoing communication with government and regulatory bodies.
- Act as a key point of contact for regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
Incident & Risk Management
- Manage content-related compliance incidents, risk assessments, and resolution plans.
- Coordinate incident response and resolution with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in content compliance, regulatory affairs, government relations, or policy-related roles.
- Strong understanding of Middle Eastern cultural, religious, and policy environments.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- High sensitivity and sound judgment in handling content risk and regulatory matters.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across international teams.
