Consultant II at F5. This is a senior consulting role focused on leading the design, development, and implementation of complex technology solutions using F5 products.

Role Purpose
To apply advanced consulting expertise in leading cross-functional teams through the design, development, and implementation of complex technology solutions. The role combines strategic customer guidance with technical leadership, mentoring, and thought partnership with Professional Services leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Guidance & Solution Design
- Provide strategic guidance and subject matter expertise on problem identification, systems architecture definition, and solution design.
- Exercise considerable judgment in selecting proper methods and adapting complex techniques to deliver technical solutions and advisory services.
- Determine appropriate procedures and methodologies for new assignments.
Implementation & Delivery
- Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and implementation of complex technology solutions using F5 products.
- Guide clients through customization, implementation, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Deliver client training and documentation.
Customer Relationships & Communication
- Act as a key contributor in fostering positive relationships between customers and F5 through effective communication and successful solution delivery.
- Communicate complex technical concepts involving F5 solutions to clients and internal colleagues.
- Interact with others to inform and direct action using strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Leadership & Mentoring
- Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with Professional Services consulting leaders to define and communicate strategic vision and roadmap for Professional Services engagements.
- Provide subject matter expertise, insights, and thought leadership on industry trends and best practices.
Process Improvement
- Select and improve tools and processes that enable efficient and productive client engagements.
- Impact the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of own functional area.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced expertise in F5 products and technologies.
- Expansive knowledge in product-related technical tools and concepts.
- Deep understanding of consulting methods and complex problem-solving techniques.
