Role Overview
Astra ProMed is seeking a Consultant Radiation Oncologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai on a full-time basis.
Role Purpose
Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cancer treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Treatment Planning
- Diagnose and manage patients requiring radiation oncology treatment.
- Develop and oversee individualized radiotherapy plans, including external beam radiotherapy and other appropriate treatment modalities.
- Monitor treatment response, manage side effects, and provide follow-up care.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Evaluate treatment options in collaboration with medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and cancer care planning.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
Professional Development & Quality
- Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications & Experience
- Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiation Oncology or a relevant specialty.
- Relevant post-specialization clinical experience at Consultant level.
- Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of modern radiation oncology techniques and treatment protocols.
