Role Overview
Consultant Oncology & Hematology at Astra ProMed, Dubai. Full-time position providing comprehensive care for patients with solid tumors and hematological disorders while contributing to multidisciplinary treatment planning and high-quality patient outcomes.
Role Purpose
Diagnose and manage patients with oncological and hematological conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, and deliver evidence-based care across solid tumors and hematological malignancies.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Treatment
- Diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of oncological and hematological conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care.
- Evaluate and manage hematological malignancies and solid tumors.
- Provide follow-up care, monitor treatment response, and manage treatment-related complications.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
Clinical Leadership & Development
- Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications & Experience
- Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Oncology, Hematology, or relevant specialty.
- Relevant post-specialization clinical experience at Consultant level.
- Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of current oncology and hematology treatment protocols.
