Role Overview
Construction Manager – Infrastructure at Al Shirawi Group, responsible for overall planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure works on site to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Role Purpose
Oversee the execution of all infrastructure-related works including earthworks, roads, stormwater drainage, water supply, sewerage, and utility coordination while ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, contractual requirements, and all HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Coordination
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly construction activities in coordination with site engineers and supervisors.
- Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities.
- Support procurement and logistics by tracking material deliveries and usage.
Execution & Operations
- Oversee the execution of all infrastructure-related works including earthworks, roads, stormwater drainage, water supply, sewerage, and utility coordination.
- Manage resources on site including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Identify and resolve technical and logistical issues that arise during construction.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site.
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed and conduct site inspections and audits.
Reporting & Monitoring
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for higher management.
