Construction Manager

Role Overview

MEP Construction Manager at Al Shirawi Group. This role oversees all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of a construction project, ensuring MEP systems are installed correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Role Purpose

Manage and coordinate the installation, testing, and handover of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on construction projects, maintaining compliance with building codes and safety regulations while delivering quality outcomes on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Site Coordination & Management

• Manage and coordinate all MEP installation activities on-site.
• Supervise and manage MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and technicians.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and safety standards.

Technical & Design Review

• Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Collaborate with design consultants, architects, structural teams, and civil engineers to resolve conflicts and technical issues.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ensure materials and equipment meet project specifications and are delivered on time.

Project Scheduling & Reporting

• Monitor progress of MEP work against the project schedule and report delays or issues.
• Maintain documentation and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.

Testing & Handover

• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
