Construction Manager

Role Overview

MEP Construction Manager with Al Shirawi Group, responsible for overseeing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction projects.

Role Purpose

Oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on construction projects to ensure correct installation, efficiency, and compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management & Coordination

• Manage and coordinate all MEP installation activities on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and safety standards.
• Supervise and manage MEP subcontractors, suppliers, and technicians.

Technical & Compliance

• Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ensure materials and equipment meet project specifications and are delivered on time.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Collaborate with design consultants, architects, structural teams, and civil engineers to resolve conflicts and technical issues.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.

Reporting & Documentation

• Monitor progress of MEP work against the project schedule and report delays or issues.
• Maintain documentation and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.
