Role Overview
Conference & Events Manager at Hilton. This role supports the Hotels team in driving conference and events revenue and delivering memorable guest experiences through strategic sales and operational coordination.
Role Purpose
Develop and execute conference and events sales strategies to maximize revenue, build lasting client relationships, and coordinate the delivery of successful events that reflect Hilton's hospitality standards and values.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue
- Drive Conference & Events revenue by developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize event revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor confirmed and tentative business, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates on sales activities and revenue performance.
- Support sales calls, client visits, networking activities, and promotional initiatives to increase hotel visibility and generate new Conference & Events opportunities.
Client & Enquiry Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event organizers, and business partners to understand their requirements and secure repeat business.
- Handle conference and event enquiries from initial contact through confirmation.
- Ensure accurate proposals, quotations, and timely follow-up on all enquiries.
- Conduct site inspections and welcome potential clients for hotel and event space tours.
- Present the hotel's facilities and recommend suitable solutions based on client requirements.
Operations & Coordination
- Work closely with Operations, Banqueting, Food & Beverage, and other hotel departments to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and events are delivered successfully.
- Maintain compliance with Hilton standards, hotel policies, and established sales procedures throughout the Conference & Events sales process.
