Role Overview

Conference & Banqueting Operations Supervisor at Hilton. This role oversees the seamless execution of daily banquet operations and delivers memorable guest experiences through exceptional hospitality.

Role Purpose

You will plan, organize, and execute various banquet events while supervising banquet staff and ensuring flawless event setup, breakdown, and compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Event Execution

• Supervise execution of events including breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas
• Plan and organize various banquet events according to specifications
• Execute events with attention to detail and quality

Event Setup & Breakdown

• Oversee setup of function rooms ensuring linens, silverware, glassware, and chinaware are arranged according to event specifications and quality standards
• Ensure function rooms are properly broken down after events
• Store all equipment correctly for the next event

Team Management

• Oversee banquet staff including scheduling, supervision, coaching, and recognition
• Manage team performance and development

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Communicate event specifications, procedures, and updates to Food and Beverage teams
• Collaborate with Event Services, Property Operations, Audio Visual, and Housekeeping teams
• Coordinate across departments for seamless event delivery

Guest Experience & Compliance

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions
• Proactively look for ways to make guest experiences special
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
• Ensure the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
