Role Purpose
Install, configure, manage, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair computer networks, workstations, server systems, and supporting hardware and software to ensure reliable IT infrastructure and end-user support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Network & Infrastructure Management
- Install, configure, and maintain computer networks, workstations, and server systems.
- Plan and coordinate information technology-related equipment installations, moves, additions, changes, and system enhancements.
- Plan and manage disk space for entire network.
- Maintain accurate inventory of all technological devices.
- Ensure backup tapes are locked in a fireproof safe.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot, repair, and resolve technical problems related to computer hardware, software, LAN, WAN, and internet.
- Respond to program error messages.
- Inspect, test, and diagnose computer equipment and systems.
- Provide end-user support for all applications.
- Refer major problems to vendors and technicians.
Security & Compliance
- Plan and coordinate implementation of network security measures.
- Train and instruct users in proper use and security of all systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
User & Stakeholder Management
- Provide network communications support and technical guidance.
- Consult with others to assess, analyze, and resolve computing needs and system requirements.
- Address guests' service needs and assist other employees.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals.
Process Improvement & Governance
- Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements.
- Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Serve as role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
Operations
- Enter commands and activate controls on computers and equipment.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
- Enter and locate information using computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Move up and down stairs and ramps.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
- Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: None required.
- License or Certification: None required.
