Role Overview
Commissioning Superintendent Mechanical at KBR, based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project. The role requires onshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects.

Role Purpose
Oversee and coordinate mechanical commissioning activities for sales gas and condensate areas on a major onshore project, ensuring all systems and subsystems meet mechanical completion and readiness standards in compliance with contractual requirements and vendor/licensor procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities are within Licensors and Vendors guiding procedures.
- Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
- Provide required advice and support for Sr. Commissioning Manager.
Commissioning Oversight
- Monitor and manage the progress of commissioning activities of sales gas and Condensate area.
- Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
- Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
- Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
- Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
Quality Assurance & Closure
- Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
- Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in his area.
- Ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
- Minimum 18 years of relevant experience in commissioning or operation readiness position.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- GCC region experience preferred.
- Commissioning sour gas, Hydrogen production, and Hydro-desulfurization project experience preferred.
