Role Overview

Commissioning Manager – Offshore Topside Project with KBR, based initially in Contractors Office in Abu Dhabi and then moving to an offshore site location on a 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation cycle.

Role Purpose

The Commissioning Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing all commissioning and start-up activities for a major EPC/PMC project. The role ensures systems are commissioned safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Commissioning & Start-up Execution

• Manage all commissioning and start-up activities for the major offshore project.
• Ensure systems are commissioned safely and efficiently.
• Deliver commissioning outcomes in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams across the offshore project.
• Apply strong leadership capabilities to manage diverse technical teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 20+ years of overall experience.
• 10+ years in the oil and gas industry.
• Previous experience working in offshore projects in either EPC or PMC capacity.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar commissioning manager position for international oil and gas projects.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in offshore projects; modular or fabrication experience is an added advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
