Role Purpose
Produce creative and excellent dishes as part of the kitchen team while maintaining high standards of health and safety and ensuring guest expectations are exceeded and fully satisfied.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation and Operations
- Perform basic tasks of food preparation and organization in the kitchen.
- Carry out many different orders simultaneously in brief amounts of time while remaining calm.
- Execute orders effectively and gracefully receive constructive criticism from other kitchen team members.
Quality and Excellence
- Create excellence in your own area of responsibility.
- Support other team members as they create excellence in theirs.
- Produce dishes that exceed and fully satisfy guest expectations.
Health and Safety
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, including personal hygiene.
- Uphold basic knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures.
Team Communication
- Communicate effectively with other members of the kitchen team.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School degree.
- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage or Restaurant operations role.
Skills & Competencies
- Passion for teamwork.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Knowledge of basic preparation, presentation and preservation of food.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures.
