Role Purpose

As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for daily food preparation and duties in the kitchen, maintaining set standards and quality while promoting the core values and service standards of Holiday Inn.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Production

• Prepare daily mise-en-place and food production in different sections of the kitchen.

Service Standards & Culture

• Deliver Holiday Inn service standards at all times through warm, welcoming service without compromise to all guests.
• Promote the desired work culture around the five core values of the InterContinental Hotels Group: do the right thing, show we care, aim higher, celebrate difference, and work better together.
• Demonstrate commitment to serving food of the highest quality.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in Asian cuisine is required.
• Similar experience working in either a restaurant or a 4/5-star hotel environment.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Additional languages are an added advantage.
