Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah is located minutes from Masjid Al Haram in the Holy City, spread across four towers. The hotel features dining venues, retail outlets, a gym, executive lounge, and meeting spaces, offering views of the Grand Mosque and culinary offerings spanning Mediterranean, Persian, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian cuisines.

Role Purpose

To prepare meal ingredients, handle food preparation tasks, and maintain kitchen standards to exact specifications while ensuring proper food storage and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation

• Gather, measure, mix, and prepare meal ingredients, sauces, and seasoning.
• Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and meat as applicable.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of cutting and seasoning different meats and marination techniques.
• Prepare dishes such as salads and sauces with finer details and exquisite presentation.
• Apply proficient knowledge of established recipes and plating guides to exact specification.

Inventory & Storage

• Ensure that food items are stocked properly in refrigerators and freezers.
• Document inventory of kitchen supplies and notify supervisors of low stock situations.

• Expert in food quality and presentation skills.

Additional Information

Salary is paid in Saudi Riyals (SAR), the local currency of the KSA.
