Role Overview
Commercial Manager (Pre-Opening) at Hilton.
Role Purpose
Develop and execute integrated commercial strategies across all revenue streams to drive top-line performance, market share growth, and profitability. Lead pricing, forecasting, and sales efforts while building stakeholder relationships and cultivating a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Execution
- Own commercial strategy and execution across all revenue streams — including Group, Conference, and Events (GCE), Rooms, Food and Beverage, Leisure, and Spa.
- Develop and implement integrated commercial strategies to drive top-line performance and market share growth.
Revenue Management & Optimization
- Maximize revenue and profitability by partnering with General Managers and Finance to ensure commercial decisions support revenue goals.
- Optimize cost of sales and deliver profit and margin targets.
- Oversee revenue management practices including pricing, rate strategies, demand forecasting, and business reviews to optimize revenue across all segments.
- Lead pricing and forecasting strategy.
Sales & Marketing Alignment
- Coordinate on-property and regional sales, marketing, eCommerce, and public relations activities.
- Support brand positioning and drive demand through aligned efforts.
Market Analysis & Adaptation
- Monitor trends and assess competitive landscape.
- Adjust commercial strategies to stay ahead in evolving market conditions.
Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with owners, operators, Hilton corporate teams, and external partners.
- Align goals and create long-term commercial value with stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Development
- Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs.
- Cultivate a high-performing team.
