Role Overview

Coating Applicator at Hempel, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role assists in the effective functioning of Décor Technical Services by conducting trial applications, sample panel demonstrations, and customer support for decorative coating products.

Role Purpose

To support the Décor Technical Services structure by executing coating applications, producing demonstration materials, and providing technical assistance and training to customers in adherence to their specifications and sales coordination requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Sample Production & Demonstrations

• Administer the process of producing sample panels, display boards, and sales kits brochures.
• Conduct site application, demonstration, and training in adherence to customers' requests as coordinated by the concerned sales staff.
• Introduce and innovate the latest and up-to-date decorative designs and special effects where appropriate.

Technical Support & Problem-Solving

• Provide assistance on conducting complaints evaluation through application trials and testing.
• Obtain needed supplies and equipment to complete assigned tasks.

Operations & Compliance

• Work on special projects at the direction of Trade Sales Manager.
• Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Work toward achieving maximum efficiencies in an established work environment while maintaining safety and compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma (added advantage).
• Certificate on Paint Application Course/Training.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge on paint technology and application.
