Role Overview
Coastal Manager at NMDC Group, leading coastal modelling, shoreline protection, marine infrastructure, port and marina development, breakwater design, and dredging and reclamation projects.
Role Purpose
Lead coastal engineering design and modelling activities for marine and coastal infrastructure projects while managing multidisciplinary teams, overseeing technical deliverables, and supporting business growth through project leadership and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Lead and manage coastal engineering design and modelling activities for marine and coastal infrastructure projects.
- Oversee technical deliverables and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Review engineering studies to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards.
Business Development
- Support business development activities and client engagement.
- Prepare proposals and lead client relationships.
- Support the continuous development of coastal engineering capabilities within the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Master's Degree in Coastal or Marine Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in coastal engineering, marine infrastructure, numerical modelling, and project management.
- Strong expertise in coastal processes, hydrodynamics, sediment transport, shoreline protection, ports, marinas, and marine structures.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in coastal modelling software such as MIKE 21, SWAN, and CMS-WAVE.
- Proficiency in related engineering tools.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.
- Stakeholder management expertise.
- International consulting environment experience.
