Role Overview
Clinical Psychologist position with Pulse Healthcare in Doha, Qatar. The role offers opportunities in adult therapy, child and adolescent services, couples therapy, family therapy, or trauma work, with a minimum of 25 clinical hours per week.

The service operates a multidisciplinary team including Consultant Psychiatrists and experienced international Psychologists, with exceptionally high demand and extensive waiting lists.
Role Purpose
Deliver evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention to a diverse client population experiencing a broad range of mental health concerns, while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Delivery
- Deliver evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention to a varied client population.
- Manage a caseload of individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health difficulties.
- Work with clients experiencing complex trauma, high-risk presentations, and emotional difficulties.
- Conduct specialist therapeutic work within your area of expertise, including adult, child and adolescent, couples, or family therapy where appropriate.
Treatment Planning & Documentation
- Develop personalised treatment plans that support positive clinical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and professional clinical records in line with regulatory requirements.
Collaboration & Service Development
- Collaborate with Consultant Psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to the continued development of a high-quality psychological service.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Current registration with an appropriate professional body.
- Experience delivering psychological therapy within mental health services.
- Strong assessment, formulation, and therapeutic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Desirable
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Experience providing couples therapy or family therapy.
- Experience managing complex trauma or high-risk presentations.
- Previous experience within private healthcare or international settings.
- Additional training in specialist therapeutic modalities.
Additional Information
Compensation & Hours
- Minimum 25 clinical hours per week, with opportunities to increase earnings through additional sessions.
- Estimated salary QAR 25,000–50,000 per month (approximately £5,000–£10,000 per month), dependent on caseload and performance.
- Minimum income guarantee during initial six months.
Relocation Support
- Relocation support, including flights to Qatar.
