Role Overview
Client Onboarding Analyst at Citi, based in Bahrain. This is a full-time, developing professional role within the Operations - Services job family, specifically Reference Data Services.

Role Purpose
Monitor, assess, analyze and evaluate processes and data within client onboarding. Identify policy gaps, formulate recommendations, and maintain data quality and client service levels across multiple systems and teams. Supervise junior staff and deliver project initiatives with limited but direct impact on the business through quality of tasks and services provided.
Key Responsibilities
Account and Data Management
- Oversee day-to-day creation and maintenance of customer accounts, security and pricing data within multiple systems across multiple teams.
- Identify inconsistencies in data or results and define business issues.
- Identify opportunities for improvements to quality of data and client service levels.
Governance and Compliance
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
- Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy.
- Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency.
- Apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices.
Leadership and Team Guidance
- Provide direction and guidance to team, evaluating performance, making recommendations and identifying training requirements.
- Supervise junior staff to ensure delivery of their tasks which contribute to projects.
Project and Operations Management
- Manage and deliver project initiatives successfully.
- Research and interpret factual information.
- Formulate recommendations on policies, procedures or practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in client/counterparty/account data management within a global financial services organization.
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Good awareness of client needs and expectations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of FX Market.
- MS Excel proficiency.
- Issue tracking and reporting using tools.
- Teamwork, communication, problem-solving and organization skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate established disciplinary knowledge within specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.
- Developing working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
