Cleaner at AL GHURAIR.

Role Purpose

Maintain buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing a full range of heavy cleaning duties, managing cleaning supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Cleaning Duties

• Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
• Clean floors using appropriate methods for various floor types
• Shampoo rugs
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types
• Dust ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture
• Wash walls, glass, and upholstered furniture
• Scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures
• Clean and stock restrooms
• Wash and dry windows
• Empty trash cans and remove rubbish

Supply & Maintenance Management

• Liaise with the line manager to ensure sufficient cleaning products at all times
• Report any breakages that occur during the cleaning process
• Notify management of the need for repairs
• Work to reduce wastage and/or cost

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Relevant experience in UAE or Gulf region is preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Excellent organizational skills
