Role Overview

Cleaner position at Al Ghurair.

Role Purpose

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across facilities through systematic heavy cleaning, operational upkeep, and equipment management.

Key Responsibilities

Heavy Cleaning Duties

• Clean floors across various types and surfaces.
• Shampoo rugs.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Wash walls, glass, and upholstered furniture.
• Remove rubbish.
• Notify management of the need for repairs.

Operational Duties

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types.
• Dust ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Empty trash cans.
• Wash and dry windows.
• Liaise with the line manager to ensure sufficient cleaning products are available at all times.
• Report any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
• Work to reduce wastage and cost.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred minimum).
• Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience.
• Relevant experience in UAE or Gulf region (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Excellent organizational skills.
