Role Overview

Cleaner at Al Ghurair. The role involves keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition and performing heavy cleaning duties.

Role Purpose

To maintain buildings in a clean and orderly state by performing heavy cleaning duties, including floor cleaning, rug shampooing, restroom sanitation, wall and glass washing, furniture cleaning, and rubbish removal.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types.
• Dust ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Empty trash cans.
• Wash and dry windows.
• Shampoo rugs.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Wash walls, glass, and upholstered furniture.
• Remove rubbish.
• Liaison with the line manager to ensure sufficient cleaning products are available at all times.

Maintenance & Reporting

• Report any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.
• Notify management of the need for repairs.

Cost Management

• Work to reduce wastage and/or cost.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum: 1 year of cleaning experience.
• Preferred: Relevant experience in UAE or Gulf.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Excellent organizational skills.
