Role Overview

Civil Technical Engineer at AL GIHAZ HOLDING.

Role Purpose

Coordinate project execution across internal resources and external vendors to ensure civil engineering projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining technical compliance with contractual requirements and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.

Delivery & Performance

• Ensure that specified portions of the project are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Raise site requirements for material, tools, and equipment to the site manager with sufficient advance notice according to company policy.

Technical Review & Submissions

• Prepare material submittals based on contractual requirements and project specifications.
• Study all civil drawings and comment if there are any technical mistakes according to the standard and project specifications.
• Review and comment on subcontractor offers and technical submittals based on their involvement and scope of work.

Site Management & Coordination

• Follow up with site engineers on running activities for any clarification or correction required during construction progress.
• Follow up on subcontractor site technical issues to resolve and provide the best solution to avoid negative impact on project time and cost.
• Coordinate with third parties for all tests required at site.

Qualifications & Experience

• Saudi National only.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
