Role Purpose

To ensure quality compliance and engineering standards across civil works by reviewing technical specifications, inspecting materials and workmanship, and verifying that all civil construction activities meet project requirements and established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Specifications & Standards Review

• Review project technical specifications, drawings, and Bill of Quantities to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship, and testing requirements related to civil works.
• Prepare and review concrete specifications, mix designs, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

Verification & Inspection

• Perform verification inspection of work elements related to civil works to assure compliance with established procedures and project-specified requirements.
• Participate in on-site receiving inspection of civil materials.
• Conduct Civil Testing Standards, Concreting, Marine, Onshore & Offshore Construction Inspections.

Testing & Knowledge

• Maintain knowledge in all civil laboratory testing requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Extensive experience in Marine and Civil works.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of international codes, standards, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures.
• Good command of English.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Organized, committed, and hard working.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player with high attention to detail.
• Analytical thinker.
• Results-driven with problem-solving techniques.
• Report writing and communication skills.
