Civil Engineer

Role Overview

Civil Engineer at Dallah Albaraka. This role is responsible for performing complex assignments often requiring development of new and improved products, processes, or techniques, mainly concerned with production and maintenance planning and management.

Role Purpose

Act as a technical reference and coordinate with other sections to ensure compliance with operation standards. Supervise day-to-day operations of the Operations and Maintenance department, provide technical guidance, and drive process optimization to achieve high performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance Management

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Operations and Maintenance department.
• Provide guidance in facilitating related professional work processes to achieve high performance standards.
• Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure all work within a specific area of the Operations and Maintenance unit is carried out efficiently.
• Participate in the implementation of Operations and Maintenance unit policies and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled.

Planning & Budget Management

• Contribute to the preparation of the Operations and Maintenance unit budget.
• Ensure that activities within the unit are implemented and processed according to the assigned budget.
• Manage the implementation of complex plans, ensuring completion of necessary tasks and projects and supporting achievement of unit objectives.

Technical Leadership & Optimization

• Provide technical advice, guidance, and oversight in your field of specialty in a defined operational area.
• Act as the technical reference for all operations team members in process management.
• Conduct process management and optimization studies to enhance quality and cost efficiency and minimize process faults and variances.
• Participate in preparing contingency plans to ensure the credibility of systems and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor degree in Engineering.
• 4 years of related experience.
