Role Overview
Civil Engineer at Sucafina. The role involves planning, designing, and supervising civil engineering projects to ensure safety, compliance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of infrastructure such as roads, buildings, and utilities.
Role Purpose
Deliver safe, compliant, and cost-efficient civil engineering projects on schedule. Lead the design and supervision of infrastructure works from conception through completion, ensuring quality standards and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning
- Deliver designs meeting safety and code requirements.
- Conduct civil engineering design for roads, drainage, and structures.
- Prepare accurate reports and documentation.
Cost & Schedule Management
- Reduce project costs through value engineering.
- Complete projects on schedule milestones.
- Manage project scheduling and quantity estimation.
Construction Oversight & Quality
- Oversee construction quality and inspection results.
- Communicate with stakeholders and contractors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Relevant experience in civil or structural design or construction supervision.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and regulations.
- Structural and geotechnical basics.
- Hydraulics, drainage, and surveying basics.
Software Proficiency
- Proficiency with engineering design and calculation tools.
- AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit.
- STAAD, ETABS, or SAP2000 basics.
- MS Project for project scheduling.
