Role Overview
Civil Design Engineer at Archirodon Group N.V, based in the UAE office. The role supports a major Oil & Gas Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) project comprising detailed engineering, design, quality assurance, procurement, construction, and commissioning of hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon systems. The project scope includes adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station, and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.

Role Purpose
Provide technical design support and civil engineering expertise to site construction teams on a brownfield Oil & Gas project, ensuring civil works comply with ADNOC requirements, project specifications, and applicable international codes and standards. Lead the coordination and resolution of design-related issues across multiple disciplines and project phases.
Key Responsibilities
Design Review & Technical Support
- Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, specifications, IFC drawings, and engineering documents for site execution.
- Provide technical design support to site construction teams and resolve design-related issues.
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, Technical Queries (TQs), method statements, and technical submittals.
- Support the detailed engineering and design of foundations, concrete works, roads, drainage, underground utilities, and other civil works.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure civil works comply with ADNOC requirements, project specifications, and applicable international codes and standards.
Coordination & Interface Management
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Survey, Planning, and subcontractors across the multidiscipline engineering of the project.
Documentation & Change Control
- Monitor drawing revisions and design changes and ensure the latest approved documents are available at site.
- Assist with as-built drawings, MTOs/BOQs, inspections, and project handover documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil design, preferably in EPC or Oil & Gas projects.
- Experience with ADNOC projects and UAE/GCC standards is preferred.
